Q-ton CO2 heat pumps are equipped with a two-stage compressor that combines rotary technology (low pressure) and scroll technology (high pressure) in one housing. This combination provides the highest efficiency both in extremely low and high ambient temperatures.
Q-ton ensures continuous production of water at temperatures from 60°C to 90°C, even at an external temperature of -25°C, and maintains nominal capacity up to an external temperature of -7°C without the need for an additional electric heater. The COP for the transitional period (air temp. 16°C, inlet water temp. 17°C, outlet water temp. 65°C) is 4.3. The heating capacity ranges from 30 kW to 480 kW (1–16 devices connected to one controller).
Capacity for DHW of 90°C
Mitsubishi pumps are extremely efficient and environmentally friendly, regardless of their application. They are characterized by excellent energy efficiency, which translates into significant energy savings and environmental protection. Q-ton is not just about traditional domestic hot water production. The surplus heat can be used for building heating by designing the appropriate heating installation (radiators, underfloor heating, ventilation unit heater, etc.).
Applications of Q-ton CO2 heat pumps include industry, hotels, apartment buildings, restaurants, hospitals, universities, nursing homes, fitness centers, and more.
