The series of Carel GLD gas detectors are calibrated to detect most refrigerants from the following groups: CFC, HFC and CO2. A wide range of sensors is designed for use in industrial refrigeration and air conditioning (supermarkets, shopping centers, other public places) and for which require constant control and monitoring, informing about the state of the system. Gas detectors Carel prevent operation stoppages and significant financial losses caused by improper food storage. They control the safety of people working near operating refrigeration units. They reduce greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with Kyoto Protocol.
Gas detectors Carel GLD continuously monitor the air (inside and outside) to detect refrigerant leaks. These devices can be used in refrigeration applications (cold rooms, freezers, factory halls).
The detectors of this series are available in such configurations:
Sensor elements are built using the semiconductor technology (SC) or infrared technology (IR). Both versions come with wall mounting screws and a magnetic stylus. An RJ45 cable is also supplied for the remote version.
