TE 2 CO2 thermostatic expansion valves are especially suitable for liquid injection in ”dry“ evaporators where the superheat at the evaporator outlet is proportional to the evaporator load. Now qualified for R744, the TE2 is suitable for small to medium size remote refrigeration systems such as cold rooms and display cabinets as used in convenience stores, restaurants, and small supermarkets. By using a mechanical TXV instead of an electric expansion valve, a simpler controller can be used and no enclosure pressure sensor is required.
