Coalescent oil separators GVN OS.C are available with tank volume range from 1.3 to 64.2 litres. Oil separators are equipped with ODS solder connections, available in sizes from 5/8" to 3 1/8" (inlet and outlet), designed for refrigerants HCFC, HFC, R717 (ammonia), as well as high-pressure refrigerants R410A and R744 (CO2). They can operate at a maximum working pressure (PS1) of 45-130 bar (depending on the model). GVN oil separators have been manufactured in compliance with Directive CE 2014/68/EU [PED] regarding pressure equipment.
The task of coalescent oil separators is to effectively separate oil from the compressed refrigerant and ensure the efficient return of oil to the compressor. This helps maintain the oil level in the crankcase and increase system efficiency by minimizing excessive oil circulation.
Coalescent oil separators are designed for use in various systems and compressors to achieve maximum energy efficiency in low-pressure oil management systems. They are suitable for scroll and reciprocating compressors, but not recommended for screw and rotary compressors.
