The range of coalescent oil separators GVN OS.CR, equipped with an oil storage chamber. Oil separators are available with soldered connections ODS in sizes range from 5/8" to 3 1/8" (inlet and outlet) and tank volume range from 1.4 to 50.2 litres. They are dedicated to refrigerants HCFC, HFC, R717 (ammonia), as well as high-pressure R410A and R744 (CO2). They can operate with a maximum working pressure (PS1) of 45-130 bar (depending on the model). GVN oil separators have been manufactured in accordance with the CE Directive 2014/68/EU [PED] concerning pressure equipment.
The task of coalescent oil separators is to effectively separate oil from the compressed refrigerant and ensure the efficient return of oil to the compressor. This aims to maintain the oil level in the crankcase and increase system performance by minimizing excessive oil circulation.
Coalescent oil separators are designed for use in various systems and compressors to achieve maximum energy efficiency in low-pressure oil management systems. They have been designed for use in scroll and reciprocating compressors, and their use is not recommended for screw and rotary compressors.
