The range of spiral-dismantling oil separators OS.HF GVN series, with a tank volume range from 2.2 to 43 litres. Oil separators are available with soldered ODS connections in sizes ranging from 5/8" to 3 1/8" and are dedicated to refrigerants from HCFC and HFC groups, as well as R290 (propane) and R717 (ammonia). They can operate with a maximum working pressure (PS1) of 33 bar. Spiral oil separators are designed to work with spiral and reciprocating compressors, and their use with screw compressors is not recommended. They are equipped with a movable flange construction for cleaning the float system. They have been manufactured in accordance with the CE Directive 2014/68/EU [PED] on pressure equipment.
The task of oil separators is to properly separate oil from the compressed refrigerant and ensure the most effective return of oil to the compressor. This aims to maintain the oil level in the crankcase and increase system efficiency by minimizing excessive oil circulation.
Any contaminants that may appear in the system can be easily captured by a magnet in the float system at the oil outlet, ensuring valve operation in a cleaner environment.
It is recommended to use oil separators for the following applications:
