Pressure controlled water valves Danfoss WVFX to control the water flow in cooling installations (HCFC, HFC and HC). They have water cooled condensers, to facilitate a constant and proportional regulation of condensing pressure. Water valve changes the water flow to maintain the condensing pressure on the constant level. When the cooling installation is stopped, the chilled water flow is automatically cut. The valves are adapted to operate with aggressive refrigerants, such as sea water. Models WVFX 15, WVFX 20 and WVFX 25 are available in the stainless-steel version.
The reliable construction of WVFX water valves facilitate maintaining the manufacturer’s setting through the whole operation period. A high possible water pressure (PS – 16 bar) allow to use in the pressure’s towers. Models WVWX 10 – WVFX 40 are direct action valves, while WVS 31 – WVS 100 are servo controlled. There is an available version for a special order with a low flow - 0,63 m3/h.
Water valves are adapted to work with refrigerants from the following groups: HCFC, HFC and HC. Also, there are versions adapted to operate with R410A refrigerant. Wire range of temperatures: -25 to 130°С. For a special order there is a version with capillary. Compliant with ATEX hazard zone 2.
Application of WVFX valves:
